Summary: As part of your company’s statement of interest, we ask the company to identify up to four individuals who are considered cultural influencers who will participate in All in for Advancement. We encourage the company to ensure mix of genders, functional areas/departments/disciplines, seniority, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and other dimensions of diversity among the participants. Below is the form we request from each participant.


Participant Profile

Your company has submitted a statement of interest to participate in the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce's All in for Advancement program in 2020. As part of your company’s statement of interest, we ask the company to identify up to four individuals who are considered cultural influencers. We encourage the company to ensure mix of genders, functional areas/departments/disciplines, seniority, racial and ethnic backgrounds, and other dimensions of diversity among the participants.

Please see our description of culture influencer. Below is information that will be part of your participant profile. Your contact information and bio/headshot will be shared with the group.


You will be asked to provide:

  1. Personal Info (Name, email etc); Demographic Info; Linked In profile; Amount of time at organization; dietary restrictions
  2. Please submit a brief biography (200 words)
  3. Headshot

Essays: We ask that you complete the following essay questions and self-assessment to compliment your company’s statement of interest and as a way for you to begin your own self reflection which is part of the program’s design.

  1. Discuss your desire (or company’s invitation) that you be part of All in for Advancement. Reflect on how you are or see yourself playing a part in advancing gender inclusion in your professional and personal life.
  2. In your own words, what you believe is your organization’s biggest obstacle to gender diversity and inclusion internally (staffing processes, policies, etc.) or externally (talent attraction)?

Brief Self Assessment: Please read the following statements and assess yourself. This information will be used to evaluate the effectiveness of the program content. On scale - 5 = extremely; 1 = not at all

  1. How knowledgeable are you on the impact of gender differences in the workplace? 
  2. How likely are you to engage in conversations across difference (gender, race and ethnicity, age, department, seniority, etc.)?
  3. What knowledge or experience do you have with design thinking? 
  4. How often do you lead teams or efforts that contribute to companywide impact?
